"Art Stroll" August 19, 2010 4:30 until about 8 p.m.
Bellydance
day was held August 7, 2010 at The Reserve Club House from 5 -9 pm.
The special event included mini-classes providing an introduction to the
World of Bellydance, followed by a Hafla. Games, music, dancing,
items for sale and trade, videos from past events, good food and good
times were enjoyed by members and guests.
Sunday
June 6th, 2010 we performed a demonstration for the Red Hat Society at
the Kinesthetic Cue Dance Studio in Madison, Alabama at 3:00 p.m.
We
performed at Lee High in Huntsville, Alabama, at their April 24, 2010,
Prom at the invitation of the Prom Committee.
The
Beledi Club was invited to perform at The Academy for Academics and Arts
annual Fine Arts Festival Saturday, February 27th, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. The
Festival theme was A Renaissance Faire. Two Beledi club members provided
authentic dance performances along with some instructional
demonstrations. We donated an option of 4 free classes or one private
dance lesson. Also, one of our members donated several hip belts
to the auction.
