The Beledi Club was formed in 1976 as a non-profit organization. It is exclusively charitable and educational in order to promote the art of belly dance and fellowship among dancers in the community.
The Beledi Club sponsors workshops and shows and helps to provide performance opportunities for area dancers. Members of the club also participate in troupe performances; representing the Beledi Club at seminars, shows, festivals, local events, and entertaining the public.
These belly dance enthusiasts have kept this dynamic art form alive for over 35 years in the Tennessee Valley by presenting the dance form beautifully and providing new dancers with the opportunity to grow. The Beledi Club is a well-respected entity among belly dance artists and professionals.
